The location is prime, with easy access to local attractions. Rooms were clean and spacious, which I appreciated. The pool area? Absolutely awesome. I faced significant issues during check-in. Despite having confirmed my reservation for multiple nights, the staff insisted it was for one. The front desk attendant was less than courteous, choosing confrontation over resolution. While the cleaning staff was helpful, I encountered cleanliness problems in my room, including stains and unpleasant odors. Management needs to address staff training and basic maintenance. This hotel has potential, but serious improvements are necessary to ensure guest satisfaction and trust. Until that happens, I cannot recommend staying here.

pleasant stay, pleasant experience with amazing amenities such as the warm indoor pool and the accommodating staff who allowed us to cancel our friend's reservation without any fees.
Nothing to dislike.

The outdoor pool was nice, perfect for the kids. Rooms were not very clean; I found crumbs and old trash. Location is great for a water park nearby and golf course. Had to ask for towels, which were not provided initially.

Staying here means you're within a short stroll of attractions like the Zorb Smoky Mountains less than 2 km away and the Hollywood Wax Museum just about a kilometer down the road, perfect for leisurely walks between entertainment and dining options like Local Goat just a few steps away and a buffet a short walk from your room. While the hotel offers great pools and comfy beds, there's definitely room for improvement on cleanliness and overall upkeep.

Location is excellent, really close to all the attractions and the water park. The cleanliness of the floors could use improvement. Check-in was easy and the outdoor pool was enjoyable.

Just a suitable option for a holiday in Pigeon Forge with great value-to-price ratio. Staff was very friendly.

The room was quiet, allowing for restful sleep. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were a highlight. Upon check-in, the staff was friendly and efficiently accommodated our needs. Unfortunately, our first room had a lingering smoke smell, but the staff quickly moved us to a new one. The pool was surprisingly warm, perfect for relaxing tired muscles after a long day. I encountered cleanliness issues, including dog hair on the beds and dust on surfaces.

The staff treated us like family and were super friendly from the start. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still felt worth it.

The view from my room is fantastic and the area is buzzing with fun options. I love the spacious layout and the easy ramp access for my luggage.
Parking can be a challenge, especially if you're coming back late.

The room was disgusting—stains on the sheets, roaches everywhere, and mold in the shower. We barely got any towels, and the front desk staff were completely unhelpful.

Everything was clean and exceeded expectations. The staff were polite and accommodating, which was a relief. the experience soured quickly—bugs in the bathroom were unsettling, and the towels I asked for took too long to arrive. An indoor pool was nice, but I received stained towels. It’s hard to overlook the issues, like green pools and a room lacking basic supplies. One night, the heating failed, forcing my husband to troubleshoot in the middle of the night. Compassion and communication could use improvement, especially in emergencies.

The bed was quite comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the cleanliness and customer service left much to be desired, with rude staff and issues receiving basic amenities like towels. The location is convenient for exploring Pigeon Forge, but be prepared for potential service hiccups.

My friends and I had a blast exploring the Odditorium and Aquarium, and later we were jamming out at the Elvis & Hollywood Legends Museum. We also caught the electrifying Dolly Parton's Stampede show at Dollywood - a total adrenaline rush!
Wishing for more late-night options to keep the party vibes going for us young folks! .

The kids loved taking selfies with lifelike celebrity statues at the Hollywood Wax Museum. The indoor pool was a hit, providing warmth and fun for the children.
My wife says that more kid-friendly activities at the hotel would enhance the family experience.

I chose Howard Johnson for its proximity to the Rocky Top Wine Trail-Mountain Valley Winery.
Late arrival room mix-up.

The spacious rooms and cute decorations were a hit. The newly redone bathroom was clean and nice, plus the ice-cold room AC was perfect for the hot weather. The indoor pool, which the kids loved, was a great added bonus. The close proximity to the ranger outlets was also a major plus.
Felt relaxed, no complaints at all.

our room wasn't ready until an hour after the official check-in time, and to make matters worse, they initially assigned us the wrong room on the wrong floor. The breakfast area was a letdown - it was cramped and the food selection was limited. We also encountered an employee riding a bike through the dining area, which was quite disruptive. we did appreciate the comfortable bed in our room and the location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the area by foot. the lack of towels in the room was frustrating, and when we did manage to get some from the front desk, they were on the smaller side. we found the indoor pool to be cold and not as enjoyable as we had hoped. The staff member at the front desk seemed irritated whenever we requested towels, which put a damper on our experience. despite the convenient location and comfy bed, the issues with room readiness, breakfast area, towel availability, and pool temperature really impacted our stay at Howard Johnson. It's a shame because we had higher expectations based on our past experiences at similar hotels.

The hotel was very clean and spacious, with friendly and helpful staff from check-in to check-out. The location was fantastic, allowing us to walk to nearby attractions and avoid dealing with traffic. The pool was a hit with my kids, providing a fun and relaxing activity right at the hotel.
There were some downsides to our stay. The cleanliness of the floors was lacking, with sticky and dirty areas in our room.

The view of the mountains from the back side was truly breathtaking, and having an indoor pool was a nice touch for relaxation. The room's price was reasonable, and the staff, except for one person at checkout, were friendly and accommodating. The hotel's proximity to local attractions like the Titanic museum and the nearby local goat was convenient and made exploring the city easy.
The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. Mold in the shower, dirty floors, and unemptied trash cans were disappointing.

We had a fantastic time at this conveniently located hotel in Pigeon Forge. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast spread was tasty with a variety of options. The hotel met our requests for a ground floor room near the indoor pool, which our kids loved. The facility was clean and well-maintained, making our stay enjoyable.
Our room wasn't cleaned until we complained, and the bathroom was left untouched during our entire stay. We also had to constantly ask for more towels and washcloths, as we were never provided with an adequate amount.
